Detective Inspector Tracy Collier has dreadful memories of her younger self, locked away in the recesses of her mind. She has blocked it out, to transform herself into a successful and confident hardcore DI, as a result.
The latest callout, a body hanging from rafters in a barn, gutted and innards on display. The modus operandi, similar to a discovery of the previous week, set the scene of a serial killer at work.
All Those Lies (DI Tracy Collier Book 1) by Emmy Ellis

Rating: 5 ★
The detail of a very well written plot in “All Those Lies”, by author Emmy Ellis, pulls the reader into a tale of gruesome murders, intrigue and heartbreak. It is a Hard-boiled Mystery in which DI Tracy Collier is compelled to face, and slay the demons of her childhood. Lies forced in her past will now follow Tracy into her future, but at least she doesn’t have to constantly wonder, live in fear, and look over her shoulder anymore.
Brilliantly written, I really enjoyed reading “All Those Lies” by Emmy Ellis, and highly recommend this book. I have just acquainted myself with DI Bethany Smith, another Series by Emmy Ellis, and am positively hooked on this author.
Do check out Emmy’s profile on Amazon and Goodreads for more of her fabulous work.
